Expanded HIV Testing in Healthcare Settings (EHTH) provides routine confidential HIV screening in clinic as well as linkage to care services, Partner Services, and prevention services for individuals testing positive for HIV.
In 2010, Christie’s Place started the Coordinated HIV Assistance and Navigation for Growth and Empowerment (CHANGE) for Women program (C4W).
The Sisterhood Project is the agency’s advocacy programming branch of the agency.
Strengthening the Health and Resilience of Women, Children and Families Impacted HIV/AIDS
Christie’s Place clients have access to a substantial range of services provided by expert staff and a network of collaborative partners who are dedicated to strengthening the health and resilience of women and children affected by HIV. These services include an early intervention services center with resource coordination and referral services; medical case management; mental health services; bilingual childcare; patient navigation; outreach; and basic needs assistance. With a staff under 20 as well as significant volunteer support we receive more than 22,500 visits annually and serve over 1,200 clients.
Christie’s Place provides comprehensive social services in a caring, safe and welcoming home-like environment. Our family-centered services are free of charge, countywide, culturally and linguistically appropriate. Clients and affected family members may visit on a daily basis for information, support and to access services all in one stop.
