While seeking opportunities in the field of public service, Martha Gonzalez, also known as MG, was introduced to Christie’s Place’s website. This is where she learned about and fell in love with the mission and its focus on women, empowerment and healing. When she arrived for her first interview and saw that the setting was an actual home, she knew she wanted to be a part of the magic that happens here. It is in this home that moments of hope are shared among clients every day, eventually making their way into the community and beyond! Moments such as these inspire MG. Similarly, while she says she can’t just pick one memorable moment at CP, she shares that witnessing women transform their fears into empowerment reigns as the most memorable. Throughout heryears at the agency, MG has learned most about the power of potentiality, perhaps inspiring the title of her life book which she would title, Just Wingin’ It
