Lianne Urada

Lianne A. Urada, Ph.D., MSW, LCSW is an Associate Professor, San Diego State University School of Social Work & Assistant Adjunct Professor, UC San Diego School of Medicine, and the Center on Gender Equity and Health. Her research and teaching focus on community mobilization interventions with vulnerable populations affected by human trafficking, HIV, homelessness, substance use, and historical community trauma. In addition to being on the Board of Directors for Christie’s Place, she co-chaired the Research subcommittee of the San Diego Regional Human Trafficking & CSEC Advisory Council and has over 7 years of clinical social work practice in Los Angeles with persons living with HIV.
