Betty Uribe has been working at Christie’s Place for 10 years. She started at Christie’s Place as a case manager in 2010 and she was captivated by the mission of the agency and the supportive environment, Betty plans, organizes, and fundraises for the Turkey Mania program that provides holiday meals to over 50 families every year. Over the last 10 years she has collected many memorable moments but the ones that have touched her the most are when clients open up and share their story with her, “it’s and honor.” she says. Betty derives inspiration from being a mother to her two sons and is also inspired by her father who taught her about hard work and determination. On her time off, Betty enjoys playing Continental and Bunco with a group of long time friends.
