Johneisha Jones

Peer Navigator

Resilient, Loving, Supportive

Johneisha shares, “I have always wanted to work for Christie’s Place ever since I started receiving services here in 2011. The first day I came into the small but warm home, I remember experiencing the staff going above and beyond to help women living with HIV. The way I was given hope that day, I knew I wanted to be a part of the team to help women like me.” For the past ten years, Johneisha has spent her time in various roles advocating for different needs of PLWH. However, she notes that Peer Navigation is the most rewarding because it gives her a chance empower, uplift, and remind the clients that they can live a wonderful, fulfilling life while living with HIV. When asked what inspires her, Johneisha says “life itself” because each day provides an opportunity to learn something new. Johneisha’ s book about life would be titled “What’s next???” because she is always ready for a challenge. Johneisha loves everything about fashion, good books, and cooking.
